Little Why by Jonny Lambert

It’s okay to be different. That’s the gist of the lesson in Little Why by Jonny Lambert. Little Why is a baby elephant who is always being told to stay in line. But, he ventures out and sees other animals that he’d like to be.

The crocodile with "snippy-snappy, snazzy snout"

The cheetah with the "speedy-spotty, fuzzy fur".

The bird with the "super-stretchy tail" that can reach the highest leaves.

And the giraffe with the "long-lofty leggy legs".

The storyline is simple, but the illustrations take this book to another level. Fabulous characters ooze emotion and adorability despite having limited page time.
